The 14th open conference of Tan Uyen district’s 10th Party Executive Board for the 2010-2015 tenure has just been opened to review the local socio-economic performance, national defence and security in the first nine months of 2013.
Reportedly, Tan Uyen district’s socio-economic performance continued reaching stable growth over the past nine months. The district’s value of industrial production, services and agriculture-forestry increased by 10%, 19% and over 4%, respectively. Total State collection was estimated at more than VND1trillion, getting 75% of estimation allocated by the district’s People’s Committee and increasing by 23% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Regarding investment attraction, the district absorbed 78 domestic investment projects and 11 FDI ones capitalized at more than VND316bln and more than US$14mln, respectively. The district also well ensured policies on social welfare with 13 gratitude houses and 16 unity ones built and upgraded. The district’s order and security was also maintained during the period.
On this occasion, Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee also launched a campaign of raising funds to support people hit by Wutip in the central region.
