Phu Giao district’s Council of Science and Technology (sci-tech) approved 3 subjects on sci-tech development in the period of 2010 and 2015, including those of researching and transferring a production process on organic fertilizer from agricultural waste; surveying the situation of the blue-ear disease, also known as Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) in pigs, the effectiveness of using some kinds of vaccines against the disease and preventative measures; applying information technology (IT) in educational management.
The council also adopted 2 projects on widely multiplying a model of point accessing sci-tech information for rural socio-economic development; making IT application to raise the effectiveness of medical check-up and treatment at district’s General Hospital.
In the period of 2016 and 2020, the council has put forward 5 groups of tasks, including setting up a model of point collecting safe agricultural products for the first phase; developing the model for the second phase, expanding consumption markets for agricultural products…while approving 3 subjects on sci-tech development.
