Early February 27, TDM city’s healthcare sector held a get-together to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day (February 27, 1955-February 27, 2017).
At the get-together, participating physicians reviewed the fine tradition of Vietnam’s healthcare sector. Upholding this tradition, TDM city’s healthcare sector well fulfilled national target programs on disease prevention, population-family planning, HIV/AIDS prevention, open vaccination…; regularly implemented preventative health, opportunely handled the outbreaks of dengue fever, foot-and-mouth disease…The city’s Health Center also provided medical check-ups and treatment for more than 263,000 people; carried out a scheme on improving medical staff’s working manner in association with the Politburo’s Directive No.05 on “Acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morals and lifestyle” and made new changes in scientific research.
In the coming time, the city’s healthcare sector will continue well realizing national target programs on healthcare, increasing material facilities for grassroots-level hospitals, improving medical workers’ qualification…

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the 62-year-development of Vietnam’s healthcare. The healthcare sector of Binh Duong in general and of Ben Cat town in particular constantly developed in both quantity and quality during the renewal period. Particularly, the town’s healthcare sector last year took the initiative in monitoring and curbing epidemic diseases like measles, dengue fever, foot and mouth…; completed 99% of the local program on vaccination…
In the coming time, the town’s healthcare will strive to fulfill targets set by provincial Department of Health and the town’s People’s Committee; regularly enhance medical workers’ professional skills and ethnics for better public healthcare.
On this occasion, the organizers also awarded the certificates of merit and the “grassroots emulation soldier” titles of provincial Department of Health, the town’s Health Center to 4 collectives, 50 individuals with excellent achievements in 2016.
