Early September 30, the Executive Board of Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Party Committee held its 37th open conference.
According to a report presented at the conference, during the first 9 months of 2024, the city’s Party Committee implemented decisive and synchronous measures. As a result, the local socio-economic situation continued developing steadily, with political security-social order maintained and social welfare ensured. The city’s significant progress was also made in building Party, government and Fatherland Front and political-social mass organizations. Notably, during the period, the city’s total retail sales revenue of goods exceeded VND 23 trillion, a year-on-year increase of over 285%. The city’s industrial production value exceeded VND 57 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 27.54%.
The city also evaluated, ranked and awarded 61 OCOP product certificates with 3-star standards while maintaining its leading position for 10 consecutive years in the district-level Administrative Reform Index. Additionally, under the campaign to green TDM urban areas towards a "Green - Friendly City" for the 2024-2030 period, the city planted 526,262 trees, achieving 146.18% of the set target... The city is also expanding three successful models, namely “Morning coffee - exchange with people”, “Ho Chi Minh cultural space” and “Kind and affectionate lodging facility”.
On this occasion, the city’s Party Committee awarded the Flag of Emulation of provincial Party Committee to Phu My ward’s Party Committee for outstanding achievements over five consecutive years from 2019 to 2024 and presented the certificates of merit to three exemplary Party cells for their achievements during the period of 2019-2024.
