Early March 24, TDM city’s People’s Committee held a conference to approve the local report on socio-economic performance, national defence-security in Q1 of 2015 and implement some key tasks in Q2 of the year.
Reportedly, the city’s economy continued maintaining growth with total retail revenue of goods and services reaching nearly VND14.448trillion, up 28.6% compared to last year’s same period. Industrial production value was estimated at VND3.048trillion, up 14.7% against last year’s corresponding period. Total area for cultivation was 161 hectares, down 2.13%. Total State revenue was estimated at VND567.94bln or 29% of the yearly target.
The city also excelled at site clearance, compensation and resettlement; attached special importance to socio-cultural fields, especially in taking care of policy beneficiaries and poor households on Tet; strengthened inspection tours against trade fraud; prevented the recurrence of bird flu; inspected and imposed administrative punishments on 3 wrong facilities relating to environmental protection…
