On June 6 and 7, Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Young Pioneer Organization (YPO) held the 23rd Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children.

Over the past 5 years, the city’s YPO work and children’s movements made progress in many aspects, both in schools and residential areas. Through the movements and campaigns, hundreds of thousands of YPO members and children in the city participated in significant activities, creating a wide environment for them to practice, emulate, study and grow up step by step.
In the first session of the congress, there was a meeting between the city’s leaders and outstanding Uncle Ho's good grandchildren, a forum for YPO building and children's movements for the period of 2023-2028 and a wall newspaper exhibition on “Thu's children studying well, training hard, deserving the Party's “young sprout” title. At the second session, there was a theatrical program, reporting achievements to Uncle Ho... Especially, 144 Uncle Ho's good grandchildren representing more than 23,000 Uncle Ho's good grandchildren across the city were honored.
On this occasion, the city’s People's Committee rewarded 10 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the city's YPO work and children's movements in the period of 2020-2023.
