Early Feb.24, TDM city’s healthcare sector held a get-together to mark the 61st anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’Day (Feb.27, 1955-Feb.27, 2016).
The get-together aimed to review the glorious tradition of the sector, encourage the local physicians to further make contributions to the cause of public healthcare.
Over the past time, the city excelled at fulfilling the set targets of the national target program on health. All 14 ward-level stations of the city have so far met the national standards on health. Heath services here have also become better and better at locals’increasing demand for healthcare.
On this occasion, 59 retired officials of the sector were paid tribute and presented gifts. The sector also awarded the mementoes “For the cause of public healthcare” to 5 other individuals.
*Prior to that, Thuan An town also organized a get-together to mark the 61st anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’Day.
At the get-together, the town awarded the mementoes “For the cause of public healthcare” to 6 physicians; 45 collectives and 45 individuals were also awarded the certificates of merit of provincial Department of Health.
