According to Nguyen Thanh Tai, chairman of TDM town’s People’s Committee, urban development and construction is one of the town’s important tasks. Realizing this, TDM town has always put focus on infrastructure development and urban rejuvenation, bringing many positive results.

To turn into a city, TDM town needs to mobilize all resources from the society to improve its urban development situation in association with speeding up urban development in two wards of Hoa Phu and Phu Tan in order to create a premise for turning Binh Duong into a city in the future.
TDM town also needs to attach special importance to sustainable economic development; promote the development of services, especially hi-quality ones; build up human resources to meet requirements and tasks for the development process of a modern city.
Accordingly, TDM town must bend on detail planning and construction, particularly in the fields of traffic; water supply and drainage; power supply and urban lighting; post and telecommunications; green trees and environmental hygiene. TDM town has also boosted infrastructure investment and urban rejuvenation, contributing to changing its urban image.
To the growing of green trees…
So far, TDM town has met a standard on green space of a city with more than 36sq.m of green space per resident. The town now has tens of thousands of green trees along streets, canals and 9 parks, flower gardens and grass-covers with more than 133,000 sq.m in total.
Nguyen Van Tri, director of Binh Duong Urban Work One-Member Co.Ltd. said that the number of green trees and grass-covers has constantly increased in recent years. Especially in 2012, his company has been assigned to realize the Project on improving and managing green trees on 16 streets in TDM town.
Till now, the company has planted more than 1,000 green trees on three streets of Huynh Van Luy, Le Hong Phong and Yersin. The company is also managing and tending nearly 30,000 sq.m of grass-cover and more than 10,000 various green trees…, contributing to create a green space for TDM town.
Mr.Tri added that TDM town’s urban rejuvenation work has contributed to obviously showing the image of a civilized, modern and environmentally friendly city…
