Provincial Steering Board for the 2012 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, TDM town’s Youth Union and Binh Duong Water Supply, Drainage and Environment One-Member Co.Ltd. have just launched the campaign of “Green environment”. This campaign not only aims to protect the environment, but also upholds the voluntary spirit of the local young people in voluntary activities for the sake of the community.

of “Green environment” is among four main activities during the 2012 Summer
Youth Volunteer Campaign with two voluntary youth squads. The two squads plus
14 others from TDM city’s Youth Union will be the vanguard force in the environmental
protection movement towards building up a modern and civilized city.

“Collection of waste for restoration” is the first project of the campaign. Its objective is to classify waste to raise public awareness of environmental protection.
Next is the project of “Organization of voluntary youth squads in environmental protection”. The project has been put into operation with many practical activities for a green-clean and nice environment.
Starting the project was the implementation of five youth works in TDM city. A parade with 50 propaganda bicycles from An My high school, TDM University and the Ambassador of Environment, singer Sy Luan wove through TDM city’s main streets to raise public awareness of environmental protection.
Thousands of the local youngsters also cleared Ngu canal with a total length of more than 200km in Chanh Nghia ward.
In addition, the local youngsters got involved in many other significant activities for a green-clean and nice environment”, including planting 100 green trees at Tran Binh Trong junior high school in Tan An commune; cleaning up Ben Soi boat station in Tan An commune...
