The school year of 2014-2015 is of major events in education and training sector under the theme of “actual reforms, improved effectiveness, and sustainable quality” and the motto of “energetic and creative”, teachers and students in schools engage in good learning and teaching in a bid to improve education and training quality of the province.
Teachers and creativity work
Teacher should be creative and talented to train up good generations of students. Upholding the role of active learning and researching, local teachers have engaged in the movement of writing up creativity plans to administer in their teaching. Many have emerged as the model of devotion and passion to confirm the major role of human resource and talent training to meet the requirement of the society.
For a teacher, to create a good lesson hour, he/she should make use of self-made teaching aids. As for Mr. Dao Van Do, teacher of Tran Binh Trong Junior High School in Thu Dau Mot City, creativity is his passion. Through years, he has won many titles of good teaching contest. He talked about learning inspiration among students which should be stimulated by the frequent learning and creativity of the teacher to give the students good examples.
At a recent contest of creating and using teaching aids sponsored by Binh Duong Provincial Department of Education and Training on the occasion of 40-year achievements of education in Binh Duong Province, many teachers showed off their capacity and passion for teaching on software created by teachers to offer effective teaching approaches, sample lesson plans, creative experience, and scientific researches by teachers of high awarding titles. At the contest, the teaching aid set of geometric formula created Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen, teacher of Tan Hiep Elementary School in Phu Giao District, was awarded
A-prize. According to her, to help students acquire more and sustainable knowledge, attention should be made during the lesson hour, teaching aids would come handy. Thus, she created it to help students memorize the formulas in general and arranged order to resolve the related Math problems.
Students prove their learning capacity and creativity
Local students, on promoting the tradition of learning enthusiasm, have won major prizes at all levels. Comparing to previous years, this year’s contest of talented students has been expanded in quantity and scale by Binh Duong Provincial Department of Education and Training. At any contest, students are offered opportunities to show off their skills and talent. The Luong The Vinh Award of Mathematics at provincial level eyed the best achievements of student contestants.
They also are offered chance to create and satisfy their passion for scientific research at the contest of scientific and technological creation. This would be first time ever that Binh Duong Provincial Department of Education and Training hold such a large contest of knowledge.
