Teachers must have strong sense of responsibility towards online teaching

*To present 17 computers to students having difficult circumstances

On Sep 28, Department of Education and Training held an online conference to sum up the 2020-2021 school year and announce tasks in 2021-2022 school year of primary school level.

Facing the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, Offices of Education and Training have directed schools to proactively develop plans and scenarios to organize teaching in accordance with the actual conditions of educational institutions and students while guaranteeing the requirements of disease prevention and control. For students of grade 1 and grade 2, online teaching is organized in a flexible form, suitable to this age group; grades 3, 4, 5 effectively use the available scientific materials and build up additional scientific materials; arrange learning topics, identify contents that can be taught online or for student's self-learning. To provide online teaching, teaching via television to ensure requirements of the programs.

At the conference, Nguyen Phuong Dung, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Education and Training, noted that administrators and teachers need to adapt to changes, be responsible as organizing online teaching. Educational institutions are preparing to fulfill the dual goal of fighting the pandemic and fulfilling teaching task. Departments of Education and Training directed schools to have specific and appropriate plans, invigilate class hours, and assist teachers in online classroom management...

*On Sep 28, Phu Long Junior High School (Thuan An City) in collaboration with People's Committee of Lai Thieu Ward and the Parents Board gave 17 desktop computers to school students having difficult circumstances (photo).

These were very meaningful gifts that help needy students to participate in online learning in the school year 2021-2022, when the Covid-19 is still raging. Responding to the call, the school received more than 100 million VND to support difficult students at beginning of the new school year. In addition to 17 sets of computers for disadvantaged children, the school will continue to purchase 35 medical insurance for disadvantaged students; The rest of the money, the school will donate to this program of Department of Education and Training.
