Tens of thousands of Tet gifts sent to workers

To support union members and workers facing challenging circumstances, trade unions in the province's industrial parks have organized visits and distributed thousands of gifts to help them enjoy spring and celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2025.

From January 8 to 15, Ben Cat Industrial Park Trade Union presents 15,000 Tet gifts to union members and workers in the area.

From January 8 to January 15, the Ben Cat Industrial Park Trade Union organized a delegation to visit and deliver gifts for the Lunar New Year 2025. The recipients included union members, workers at enterprises within the industrial park, and those who are far from home and facing difficult circumstances.

Priority was given to union members and workers experiencing hardships due to natural disasters or epidemics, as well as pregnant women, women with children under six years old, single mothers, workers or their families with long-term illnesses, and those with reduced working hours or suspended labor contracts. Each gift, valued at 1 million VND, included both cash and other items. The total value of the gifts amounted to nearly 15 billion VND.

In Di An City, Standing Committee of the Di An City Labor Federation has started giving gifts to union members and workers having difficult circumstances, and workers far from home who cannot return home for Tet celebration. On the first day (January 9), the union presented 400 gifts to disadvantaged workers in the grassroots trade unions of administrative and educational sectors. Each prize is worth 1 million VND (including 700,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND).

Through direct donations and through trade unions, Di An City Labor Federation will give a total of 7,500 Tet gifts to workers having difficult circumstances in the city in the coming days.

On the afternoon of January 10, in Tan Uyen City, the Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park Joint Stock Company organized a program to distribute Tet gifts to workers who are far from home. A total of 320 gift packages were given to workers facing difficult circumstances in various companies within the industrial parks. Each gift package, worth over 500,000 VND, includes items such as sweets, jams, cooking oil, sugar, MSG, and a box of instant noodles.

To support employees during Tet, the grassroots Trade Union of Hoang Gia High-end Furniture Joint Stock Company in Tan Uyen City organized the "Tet Reunion" program. Through this initiative, the Trade Union distributed 532 Tet gifts to its members and workers. Each gift package included sweets, jam, and 200,000 VND. Additionally, 12 special gifts were given to union members and workers facing hardships, which included cash and essential items.

The program featured a lucky draw with valuable prizes and concluded with a year-end dinner. The aim of providing gifts to underprivileged workers, those who are far from home, and those in difficult situations is to offer encouragement and support. This initiative helps ensure that employees can welcome the spring season happily and warmly.
