Warming of compassion houses
This Tet gets more significant when there are many compassion houses for poor youths.
In response to the project of “Building 2,500 compassion houses for poor youths” launched by the Vietnam Youth Federation, provincial Youth Federation has actively mobilized and received the support from all walks of life, especially businesses for building and donating compassion houses to poor youths.

Nguyen Thi Le An, from provincial Youth Federation, said that from early 2011, provincial Youth Federation set up a plan to realize the above project. As of late 2011, it mobilized individuals and organizations to build 32 compassion houses worth more than VND1.2bln for needy youths.
Also according to her, provincial Youth Federation in 2012 expects to mobilize individuals and organizations to build 15 compassion houses for poor youths across the province.
With great social significance, this project has received the support of all walks of life, especially businesses, helping youths overcome difficulties to rise up.
Activities to welcome Tet
From now to before, during and after Tet, Thuan An town’s Culture, Sports and Information Center will organize many activities to welcome the lunar New Year 2012, including a musical night to mark the 82nd founding anniversary of the Party Communist of Vietnam; a program to welcome the lunar New Year’s Eve at Thuan Hoa Base Monument; a contest on unicorn-lion-dragon dance, a photo contest themed “Vitality of Thuan An of new day”…among others.
Nguyen Tan Dung, director of Thuan An town’s Culture-Sports and Information Center said the above-mentioned activities to welcome the lunar New Year 2012 have aimed to serve people and workers who work and live in Thuan An.
