In the months of the year-end, Phan Ngoc Xem in Tan Uyen district’s Khanh Binh commune is often busy with flower growing work to cater for Tet holiday.With constant efforts of agricultural production, he has enjoyed great successes from hi-yield farm produce. Recently, he was awarded a title of good farmer in business and production.
He said that these days farmers must learn and apply scientific advances in agriculture to enjoy good results. By such efforts, he has created a stable income source for his whole family. Regarding him, people think of his good thing of growing clean vegetables in pots. From this model, he has developed a job of growing flowers for Tet season.
At present, he has cared for as many as 7,000 flower pots to cater for Tet season. This is the fourth Spring he has involved in growing flowers. Besides, he arrived at famous flower villages in Dong Thap and Dong Nai provinces and so on to learn about experiences. And, in this year’s Tet season, he may reap a big profit from the job.
