On the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients visited and presented 100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged people in Hiep Thanh ward (photo) and Phu Cuong in TDM city. It is known that each gift includes cooking oil, sugar, confectionary and VND300,000 in cash, funded by Thanh Le Export Import Trading General.
Prior to that, the association also visited and offered 100 Tet gifts to disable people, orphans and poor patients in TDM city’s Phu Loi and Hiep An wards.
*The Capital Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP)’s TDM city branch held a ceremony to give 404 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each, including rice, cooking oil, confectionary…for members with difficult circumstances.
It is known that on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018, the CEP has presented 38,885 gifts to members with a total expense of VND12.7billion. Among these gifts, 1,000 come from the CEP’s TDM city branch. In the next few days, the branch will further give more than 600 Tet gifts to needy members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union acknowledged the efforts by the CEP’s TDM city branch over the past time.
