On January 25 to 28, provincial Youth Federation Secretariat cooperated with provincial English Club for the Community to offer Tet gift baskets to students with difficult circumstances, helping them enjoy a warm Tet. This activity was part of the "Spring of love - Tet of sharing” program 2022.
The program presented 150 Tet gift baskets worth more than VND 75 million, including necessaries, confectionary for Tet, to disadvantaged students at province-based high schools, namely An My, Vo Minh Duc, Tran Van On, Binh Phu, Tan Binh... It is annually organized by provincial English Club for the Community, aiming to encourage the local students with difficult circumstances to rise up in study and life.
*On January 27, provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Red Cross Society and Association for the Blind jointly gave Tet gifts for the local blind people with difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, Truong Hai Automobile Company supported money to give Tet gifts worth VND1million in cash each for 50 poor, near-poor blind people. Provincial Blind Association also presented 6 gifts worth VND500,000 each to blind people who have recovered from Covid-19 pandemic with difficult circumstances.
At the gifts-giving ceremony, Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee thanked Truong Hai Automobile Company for its contributions to provincial Fund for the Poor over the past time. She said that although being small, these gifts contributed to helping the local blind people with difficult circumstances have more conditions to welcome a warm and happy spring.
*On January 27, provincial Red Cross Society held a humanitarian market-day for the local disadvantaged people. At the market-day, the society mobilized enterprises and donors to give 300 Tet worth VND500,000, including necessaries, fruits, vegetables…, for the poor, the blind and workers at lodging facilities.
