October 4, at Provincial Children’s House was the contest of the 10th ‘Books and Childhood’ 2020.
Themed ‘the book pages of love’, the contest attracted active participation of nearly 200 students of 9 teams from districts, towns, and cities of the province. Each team introduced their squads and tell a story from books (for elementary students) and introduced and disseminated information about a book (for junior high students).

The contest was coordinated by Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with Department of Education and Training to uphold the values of books, construct and develop the movements of reading at the age of youngsters, introduce reading arts and methods, consolidate and expand knowledge that students have learned from schools and society. Accordingly, students are offered opportunities to express their talents and passions of the stories and be more aware of national tradition, patriotism and pride of glorious history of Vietnamese people.
