Besides the silver medal, the defending team also won two out of three individual titles of the tournament. In the typical squad with 11 best names in the final round, BBD contributed 4 players including goalkeeper Pham Van Dong Dien, central defender Nguyen Thanh Kien, midfielder Vo Hoang Minh Khoa, and striker Bui Vi Hao. The best goalkeeper in the tournament belonged to Dong Dien and the top scorer of the tournament named Vi Hao with 5 goals. Vi Hao and Thanh Kien are also on the focus list for the second round of U20 Vietnam to prepare for the final round of U20 Asia in 2023.

Since the 4th V-League championship (in 2015), BBD has changed its direction. They no longer contract massively in the transfer market, but instead on a long-term youth training plan with the acceptance that no achievements for a long time to gradually have a strong team with a core of young players trained by themselves. After about 6-7 years, BBD has had a generation of talented players born in 1997-1998 and all of them are in the maturity of their careers including Du Dat, Anh Ty, Trong Huy, Duy Khanh, Tuan Canh, Tan Loc, and especially national player Nguyen Tien Linh. Besides, other younger names such as Viet Cuong, Thien Duc, Minh Khoa have also participated in the youth teams of Vietnam.

In the recent U21 team composition, Van Bin, Trung Hau, Thanh Kien, Hoang Bao, Tu Nhan, Minh Khoa, Vi Hao are players enhanced from the first team, most of whom have had the honor to participate youth levels of U15, U19, U21, U23 of Vietnam. Previously, Binh Duong youth football also won bronze medals at the national U15 football tournament in 2018 and 2020, once third and second in the national U21 football tournament. These achievements are the result of a methodical plan, the wholehearted devotion of the leadership team and the coaching staff in addition to the determination of each young player. It is impossible to forget the coaches as Dai Ninh and Van Du - the trainers for young players, who are also the ones who directly train the players born in 1997-1998 to serve as a premise for the next. In terms of facilities, Binh Duong Youth Football Training Center currently has 6 natural grass fields, 4 artificial grass fields, 1 Gym, a canteen and resting areas, all located in one large campus in Ben Cat town.

With the results achieved in the past time, it is hopeful that in the future, Binh Duong youth football will develop even more strongly to reap many achievements, and provide human resources for BBD to compete for titles at different competitions at the domestic and foreign tournaments, helping the province to have a club imbued with the human identity of Thu Dau Mot and further contribute to the national team to conquer the set goals in the future.
