On October 21, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) held a consultancy seminar on the building of an action plan to implement ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) targets in period 2015-2025.MoLISA and relevant ministries and agencies has worked on a blueprint to fulfill the goals of the ASCC aiming to strengthen regional connectivity and integration.
The blueprint is designed to revamp the legal system, and double-check policies, programs, strategies and mechanisms based on the ASCC goals, outline proper strategic measures in line with Vietnam’s priorities To fulfil the goals, the regional bloc has mapped out an overall action plan of three communities including the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APS), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and the ASCC towards building a shared ASEAN community later this year, which will help accelerate sustainable development, and promotes self-reliance and dynamism.
As an active and responsible member of ASEAN, Vietnam has always worked hand in hand with the bloc through making recommendations for closer cooperation deeper integration.
