On June 8, the provincial People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 2519/UBND-VX on implementing the direction of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister on strengthening the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation.
The Official Letter requested departments, branches, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province, mass organizations and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to implement Notice No. 150/TB-VPCP dated June 4, 2021 of the Government Office, Conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and Official Letter No. 789/CD-Ttg dated June 5 of the Prime Minister. Based on the situation of Covid-19 epidemic in the country and some localities in recent days, there has been an increasing trend and complicated developments of the situation of Covid-19 epidemic in the province. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee requested all levels, branches and units to urgently focus on implementing a number of contents: absolutely not to be subjective, negligent, lose vigilance in disease prevention and control; continue to strengthen propaganda and information to each citizen with practical, appropriate and effective contents so that people can raise the initiative and sense of responsibility among the people in order to implement measures of epidemic prevention and control to protect themselves and the community. The Official Letter requested for implementation of compulsory declaration for cadres, workers, officials and employees in the units that need to declare in case of people coming to Binh Duong from epidemic provinces and cities who must make medical declaration and health information via the site of https://tokhaiyte.vn or appropriate medical declaration applications; to promptly notify the local authorities and health authorities for instructions on medical supervision, testing and examination according to the instructions of the health authorities.
The Official Letter also noted that the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures must ensure the control of the source of the disease but "do not prevent the economic flows" and without causing congestion or negatively affecting production and business; medical isolation is administered to with the specified subjects for people coming from epidemic areas. In addition, it is necessary to actively promote information and propaganda on disease prevention and control to each organization and individual by requesting all people to strictly follow the "5K" message of Ministry of Health and it is mandatory to wear a mask in public places. In addition, it is necessary to regularly strengthen the inspection and supervision of the observance of relevant regulations and strictly handle cases of non-compliance and violations.
However, it is also important not to over-impose administrative management measures or restrict essential activities related to the people, thus inhibiting socio-economic activities of the locality; at the same time, the role of the Community Covid Team is promoted so that these groups can really operate effectively and strictly control the arrivals and departures to promptly detect organizations and individuals violating regulations on health and safety. Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control are reported to authorities for strict handling according to regulations.
The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee also assigned Department of Transport and Communications to coordinate with relevant units to direct individuals and units to make mandatory medical declarations when transporting supplies and equipment for servicing the disease prevention and control, production, business and workers in industrial parks, factories and enterprises. Thereby, cases of failure to declare or declare dishonestly according to regulations are strictly handled. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee assigned Department of Health, Standing Agency of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Disease Prevention and Control to be responsible for monitoring and urging the units to strictly implement the above contents.
