Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on November 9, coordinated with the FFCs of TDM city and Phu Cuong ward to organize a ceremony to launch the 2013 campaign “The entire people consolidate to build up a cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”.
As part of activities to mark the 83rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam FFC, provincial FFC called for people from all strata to further raise their responsibility and awareness while actively taking part in the campaign of “The entire people consolidate to build up a cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”. After 18-year implementation, the campaign reached in-depth development with considerable results, including making contributions to the local hunger eradication and poverty reduction with more than VND936bln; developing the Fund for the Poor with VND120bln; building 1,369 unity houses; providing free medical checks-up and medicine for 1,000 needy people; awarding scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils…
At the ceremony, participating units signed commitments to realize their emulation targets. Twenty eight poor households in Phu Cuong ward were also presented gifts worth VND500,000 each.
