However, during the knowledge contest, there were some nervous contestants thus they could not coordinate in perfect teamwork and then lost points. The important thing was a harmonization between family members to have a fascinating competition.The family of Ms. Tran Thi Mong Thuong (Dong Nai province) always have a strong attachment to each other. The couple are teachers, so they know and sympathize mutually. To them, family is a cradle of love. They attempt to make friends with their kids, have never forced their children to learn too much.Another happy family was Mr. Chu Tien Thieu (Phu My ward, TDM City), which was one of 3 representatives of Binh Duong. One of their children are little star of Do Re Mi contest (first prize in 2009) – Chu Le Anh Thu, who is beautiful, obedient and can sing very well, thus the pride of her family. She and her sister connect all 4 members of the family together. An opportunity for families to exchange and learn each otherMr. Le Huu Tho (Vinh Phu ward, Thuan An town) is a swimming coach, works for Phuong Nam resort. He said, coming to this festival, his family could learn many things, notably knowledge of family sentiment cultivation. “We work and go to school all day. Therefore, this is a chance for my family to gather together as well as to communicate with other people”, commented he. The popular couple Mr. Ly Minh Tri of Ba Ria – Vung Tau always received applauses whenever singing on the stage. His family was also the “Almighty Family” of the festival with many first prizes at categories of performance, sport. His secret was the regular training. Every day, all members remind each other of exercise taking and usually sing together. This is the most interesting summer to his family and an opportunity for his children to learn many life skills…Some component competitions were multiple choice tests, presentations of family skills, cooking, and sport. All of 18 families tried their best to show their skills, which made the festival really exciting, useful. Competition of presentation was for families to share knowledge and experiences of cultivating a happy family, bringing up well kids, forming new life style. At cooking contest, every family arranged a table for 10 people with delicious dishes. After grading of juries, everybody enjoyed happily the meal together.At the end of the festival, participants said goodbye melancholically and promised to see each other at the 5th Family Day held by Tay Ninh province. 2013 was selected as the years of Vietnamese family by the Prime Minister in order to honor human values of families, mobilize all people to set up civilized life style, cultural families.
