Tet is still joyful at rented places
Currently, Di An Youth Union has deployed wards to organize at least 2 programs at 2 hostels from January 20 to 28 in the locality of poor families who are unable to return to their hometown to celebrate Tet. Accordingly, in accordance with the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control situation, the wards unions will actively organize programs in many different forms such as organizing Tet meals, giving essential gifts, and picking lucky flowers at the beginning of the year.
As the unit chosen to host the city-level program "New Year's meal – love sharing", Di An ward organized the program of "Tet rice tray" for immigrant workers at 33/1 of Thong Nhat 2 neighborhood with traditional Tet dishes and sharing encouragements for employees to overcome the difficult time caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. At Tan Binh ward, the program at the Hong Phuc accommodation in Tan Hiep Quarter took place warmly for workers with Tet gifts being given and picking at the beginning of the year.
The remaining units of the ward union also coordinated with related divisions and businesses in the area to organize ward-level activities to take care of union members and individuals. Typically, Binh Thang ward Youth Union has coordinated with the local Farmers' Association and the Union of Dong An High-Tech Vocational College to organize the program of "Listening to Spring" with the theme of "New Year's meals – love sharing" for workers.
