The images and artifacts displayed at the traditional house contribute to the education of the revolutionary tradition and the heroic fighting spirit of the military and people of Binh Duong province during the national liberation struggles, the unification of the country, as well as in the current mission of building and protecting the nation.
As part of the series of activities to welcome the 79th Anniversary of the Tradition of the Armed Forces of Binh Duong Province (November 25, 1945 - November 25, 2024), the 80th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), and the 35th Anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024); the Traditional House of the Armed Forces of the province has been inaugurated and put into operation. The Traditional House of the Armed Forces of the province is located in the campus of the Provincial Military Command. The building has a total construction area of 551m2, with a total investment of nearly 15 billion VND. The traditional house currently displays hundreds of images and artifacts that vividly depict the formation, construction, combat, and development process, affirming the contributions, sacrifices, and intellect of generations of officials and soldiers of the armed forces in Binh Duong province over the past nearly 80 years.

The traditional hall layout includes the central area displays the noble awards of the Party, State, and military presented to the armed forces of the province over nearly 80 years. The display includes: The historical land, the establishment and development process of the provincial armed forces; the provincial armed forces during the resistance against French colonialism (1945-1954); the provincial armed forces during the resistance against American imperialism (1954-1975); the armed forces of the province in the cause of building and defending the nation (from 1975 to present).
Colonel Nguyen Dình Chuan, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, stated: "The traditional house inaugurated and put into use will serve the purpose of visiting and studying for officials and soldiers of the armed forces in the province and various social classes in the area. Through this, it aims to propagate and educate the revolutionary traditions and the heroic struggle of the army and people of Bình Dương province during the national liberation wars, the unification of the country, as well as in the cause of building and protecting the homeland today."
After organizing a delegation to visit the Traditional House of the armed forces of the province, Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Trung Tien, Political Officer of the Military Command of Thu Dau Mot City, stated that through the images and documents displayed, it helps the officers and soldiers of the city's armed forces to better understand the national traditions, the contributions and sacrifices of the generations of fathers and predecessors, and the heroic revolutionary struggle tradition of the military and people of Binh Duong province. Thereby, fostering revolutionary traditional education, patriotism, national pride, maintaining and promoting the tradition of “bravery, resilience, proactivity, creativity, solidarity, and determination to win” and the beautiful qualities of “Uncle Ho's soldiers”; contributing to building a comprehensive and strong armed force in Binh Duong province that is “exemplary and outstanding.”
Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan further stated that in the coming time, the activities of searching for and collecting artifacts, documents, and images related to the armed forces will continue to be strengthened, in order to make the exhibition content at the Provincial Traditional House of the Armed Forces in Binh Duong more diverse and lively, so that the traditional house deserves to be a place to pass on the traditions to today's and future generations.
The traditional house of the armed forces in Binh Duong province is increasingly being perfected, and its effective operation will contribute to enhancing the quality of the cultural institutions system within the armed forces of the province in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 33 NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee of the Party (the 11th term) and in line with the guiding thought of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with the national identity of Vietnam.
This is also a meaningful action to preserve historical values, to pay tribute to the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations, and to strengthen the propaganda and education of a sense of responsibility and patriotism, fostering the heroic traditional spirit for the officials and soldiers of the armed forces as well as the young generation of Binh Duong today and in the future.
