The province has now about 200 companies operating in industrial parks and building accommodation for employees with a total floor area of over 269.980m2, satisfying needs of more than 46,970 persons. In addition, the province has 3 million m2 of lodging houses invested by households (about 182,289 houses), satisfying needs of 543,780 workers, students, and low-income persons. In the 2011-2015 period, the total area of lodging houses invested by households increased about 1.2 million m2, satisfying needs of 217,510 persons. This accommodation form has met housing demands of workers in the province.
To accommodation for workers, in the 2011-2015 period, the province approved 20 projects with a total floor area of approximately 274.150 m2, satisfying needs of about 29,130 persons. Currently, 13 projects were completed and put into use with a total floor area of over 155,640 m2, satisfying needs of nearly 17,390 workers. . It is expected that the total floor area for workers in the 2011-2015 period was nearly 449,120m2, satisfying needs of more than 65,230 persons.
To accommodation for low-income persons, the province approved 12 projects with a total floor area of approximately 301,400 m2, satisfying needs of over 19,470 persons. Currently, 3 projects were completed and put into use with a total floor area of over 62.000 m2, satisfying needs of over 2,070 persons. It is expected that until the end of 2015, there would be 5 more completed projects with a total floor area of nearly 107,350 m2, satisfying needs of more than 3,820 persons.
