One week after reassessing the level of Covid-19, Provincial Department of Health announced that out of 91 communes, wards and towns of the province, there are 68 communes, wards and towns belonging to level 1 (new normalcy - green), 21 communes, wards of level 2 (average risk - yellow), and 2 communes, towns belonging to level 3 (orange).
Specifically, 21 communes and wards of level 2 include 8 wards in Thuan An City (An Phu, An Thanh, Binh Chuan, Binh Hoa, Binh Tram, Hung Dinh, Thuan Giao, Vinh Phu), 6 wards of Di An City (Binh An, Di An, Binh Thang, Dong Hoa, Tan Dong Hiep, Tan Binh), 2 communes in Bau Bang District (Hung Hoa, Long Nguyen), 5 communes of North Tan Uyen District (Binh My, Tan Binh, Tan Lap, Tan Thanh, Tan My). Level 3 has 2 commune and town of Bau Bang District (Tan Hung commune, Lai Uyen town). The pandemic level in the province was assessed on the following criteria: The infection level and the responding ability based on total population.
91 communes, wards and towns of the province were divided by 4 levels of infection (level 1: 600). Out of 91 communes, wards and towns, there are 34 administrative units of infection level 1, 33 administrative units of infection level 2, 22 administrative units of infection level 3, and 2 administrative units of infection level 4. The incidence of new Covid-19 cases during the week in communes, wards and towns was calculated on the rate of 100,000 people.
In the previous week (from February 17 to February 23), the province had 25/91 communes, wards and towns of infection level 2.
