On Dec 27, districts, towns and cities in the province simultaneously launched a campaign to vaccinate the entire population with the third Covid-19 dose. The campaign began at injection site located at Bach Dang Shopping Center (Phu Cuong Ward, Thu Dau Mot City) with the participation of Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Very early in the morning, a large number of residents in Phu Cuong ward went to the vaccination site to receive the third shot of Covid-19 vaccine. The injection area was scientifically designed, one-way with three injection tables, the injection speed was about 2,000 injections/day/injection table and always ensured safety in each injection. This campaign to give the third shots and some second shots is held in three days from Dec 27 to 29.
Speaking at the injection site, Dr. Nguyen Hong Chuong, Director of provincial Department of Health said: "Currently, Binh Duong is decisively directing localities to give the third Covid-19 shot to people. Up to now, most people in the area have fulfilled the second dose. But in fact, after receiving two doses, the antibodies show signs of decline, in some cases, the disease is severe or even death in the elderly with underlying medical conditions. The goal of Binh Duong is to strive for to complete the third shot for all people in the province until the end of January 2022.
To accomplish the goal, Dr. Chuong informed: Department of Health directed 91 medical stations in communes, wards and townships to set up fixed injection sites; and district, town and city medical centers must perform the vaccination every day during the week. In addition, each locality set up at least 1 to 2 mobile vaccination trucks to go to each household and do the vaccinations to the elderly and sick people who cannot go to vaccination sites. The health authority calls on all people, for their own health, the community, and disease prevention control, to actively get vaccinated and encourage other people to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
For workers who cannot get injections during office hours, Management Board of provincial industrial zones, Department of Industry and Trade, provincial Labor Confederation, and districts, towns and cities must organize the vaccination at factories and at night time when workers are off shift. People from other provinces and cities returning to Binh Duong to live and work, need to urgently go to Becamex International Hospital and My Phuoc General Hospital to receive Covid-19 shots.
Mobile vaccination truck of Thu Dau Mot City, in the morning of December 27, went to houses of dozens of elderly and sick people who could not go to the injection sites to give the shot.
