The roadmap of constructing 105 moveable medical stations need soon fulfilling

In the morning of April 12, Binh Duong provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control held an online meeting with districts, towns and cities in the province. Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

In the past week, the number of new cases of COVID-19 in the province decreased by 51.6%; the number of recovered and discharged cases decreased by 25%; the total number of patients who died in the week was 5, decreasing by 54.5% from the previous week. Statistics in the past 30 days shows that the number of infection, hospitalization and deaths from COVID-19 started to increase from March - the same time that students had returned to school and the Omicron strain dominated. However, weekly statistics shows that the number of infection, hospitalization and deaths started to decrease from the end of March; the mortality rate out of the total number of hospitalization for treatment was only 3.4%. The whole province is preparing all conditions to vaccinate against COVID-19 for children aged 5 to 11.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha assigned the Department of Finance to provide guidance on supporting the fostering, resting, and meals for medical staff on duty at the 2nd floor of COVID-19 treatment areas in 9 districts, towns, and cities. He asked the localities to quickly pay the medical staff at the moveable medical stations; the health sector will soon and fully instruct to complete the roadmap of building 105 moveable medical stations with over 15,000 people allocated by 1 medical station and 5 members.

Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha emphasized that Binh Duong as a province of fluctuating population. To well prepare all conditions for vaccination against COVID-19 on children aged 5-11, the Department of Education and Training needs to review and make a list of vaccinations for children aged 5-11 and children aged 12-18 that have not been given the 1st and 2nd shots. Localities and Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs shall review at educational and vocational training institutions, and the Social Protection Center is to list children aged 5-11 who do not attend school, are outside the community, or are temporarily residing in the locality. The Department of Information and Communications should coordinate with the Department of Health to unify and guide localities to allocate identification codes for children.
