Drivers and vehicle owners are preparing for long-road service at Lam Hong Transport Station in Di An Town Before Tet holiday, Director of Binh Duong Water Sewerage and Environment (BIWASE), Mr. Nguyen Van Thien had a staff conference to offer new year greetings while assigning tasks for pipe maintenance thanks to lesser use during the holiday.On visiting the water supplying factory in Complex of Industry-Urban-Service, we were introduced to SCADA managing program which can monitor all operations of pumpers scattered in tens of kilometers region.“The system is considered as the most modern in Vietnam with SCADA, we only need 1 officer to operate; however, we assign a professional operating team. During Tet, water use may drop by 50% but we are all ready for any emergency case,” said Mr. Pham Van Chien, the factory manager.Mrs. Doan Minh Thao, Deputy of General Administrative Office of Binh Duong VNPT said: “This year, the monitoring team shall not only ensure connection but also be active in responding to problems may incur. While reporting regime is maintained, the team plans for its own responding measures.”Meantime, Department of Transportation has just demanded transporting enterprises and stations across the province to ensure trips for passengers returning home for Tet.“Comparing to other years, the vehicles decline in quantity but we aim at service quality. Passenger transportation is, thus, safer and faster.
