The voluntary impressions

The green volunteer club under provincial Youth Confederation organized a voluntary program in Phan Rang – Thap Cham City of Ninh Thuan province. The trip brought club members meaningful experiences. Sharing with the community There were 50 people, who are young members and students of Binh Duong University and Thu Dau Mot University, gathering for this trip. These young people brought happiness to children at Thanh Hai commune, Phan Rang – Thap Cham City by giving 300 gifts to Cham children having life difficulties, and 10 scholarships to especially difficult children. In addition, the club arranged folk game stalls for nearly 500 children. Principal To Manh Tuong of Thanh hai 2 primary school said: “There are not many chances for these children to have fun like this. These gifts, activities would be a great encouragement to these kids”. Pupil Do Thi Thu Duoc of class 4A has a difficult family circumstance but always achieves excellent learning results. With the given scholarship, she was so happy, and promised to make every effort to learn well. On this occasion, the club also joined charity activity at “Mai am Duyen Sang”, where is home of street people, lonesome elderly, and orphaned children. The club presented VND3 mln and helped cleaning this place. Having more life skills The club also organized other meaningful activities like: singing about islands contest, visiting and practicing making pottery at Bau Truc village, learning Cham language, and so forth. Particularly, an event named “Compassion night” was organized before the final day to review experiences from this trip. Club Chairman Thai Chi Thuan organized a forum for friendship, love, marriage, family in order for members to have more life skills. Tran Huy Bang, a student of Thu Dau Mot University, said: “There are things in our life but we do not treasure them. I can feel this thing in this trip, which evoked lots of emotion inside me”. Club Chairman Thai Chi Thuan said: “This trip was to help young people to sympathize with unfortunate fates in life, and provide life skills for the youth to live better and more useful”.
