Afternoon of March 14, the Steering Committee of the movement of all people unifying to build a cultural life, Thu Dau Mot city held a movement conference in 2022 to implement orientations and tasks in 2023.
In 2022, all levels of Party committees, authorities, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations from the city to grassroots and the entire city people have made efforts to overcome difficulties and promote the strength of the political system and the masses in all fields. As a result, the movement has achieved many encouraging results with many practical contents associated with the fulfillment of the city's socio-economic development tasks. Typical movements are building cultural families, cultural neighborhoods, agencies, units, enterprises, and wards to meet cultural standards, implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals of positive and quality changes.
As a result, by the end of 2022, review, inspection and recognition have eyed that the whole city has 51,795 households with cultural titles of 99%, increasing by 0.2% compared to 2021; all 118 neighborhoods achieved the title of culture, increasing by 0.1% compared to 2021; 1,725 hostels meet cultural standards at 99.7%; 311 out of 314 agencies, units and enterprises met cultural standards or 99.1%, increasing by 2.8% compared to 2021.
In 2023, Thu Dau Mot City sets the target to strive that cultural households would be 98.55% or more; cultural quarters 98.5% or more; cultural agencies 99.55% or more; cultural hostels 99.5% or more among other targets.
On this occasion, Thu Dau Mot city People's Committee presented certificates of merit to 14 collectives, 25 individuals and 14 households with outstanding achievements in implementing the movement in the city in 2022.
