On August 23, Provincial Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the 2022-2023 school year and set out tasks for the new 2023-2024 school year.
In academic year 2022-2023, education trainign branch of Thu Dau Mot City achieved and exceeded many targets on educational development, teaching and learning quality were higher than that of the previous school year. Namely, education program’s completion rate of primary level reached 99.07%; 1st prize (team category) at province-level Olympiad for excellent students; the number of awards increased from 68 prizes in 2022 to 168 prizes in 2023; rate of successful junior high school graduation reached 97.95% (increasing by 0.33% compared to the previous school year).
At the conference, Provincial People's Committee presented emulation flags to 2 excellent teams leading emulation movements; Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee awarded the title of Advanced Worker to 335 groups, 70 collectives and more than 1,000 individuals. People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City also presented certificates of merit to 23 teachers with outstanding achievements in instructing excellent students and 1 valedictorian in the 10th grade entrance exam for the school year 2023-2024.
