On the morning of June 6, Thu Dau Mot City held a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). Nguyen Van Dong, Provincial Party Standing Committee member, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee, attended the ceremony.


At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism over the past 100 years. Representatives of journalists and reporters from press agencies also spoke and discussed some issues related to their work as well as the attention and favorable conditions of the city and local leaders that helped press agencies, reporters and journalists to carry out propaganda work well.
At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thu Cuc, Chairwoman of Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee, emphasized that as the central city of the province, in recent times, Thu Dau Mot City has had very proud developments. She affirmed that contributing to those common achievements, there is a role of reporters and journalists from central and local media agencies. Through press works, the team of reporters has contributed significantly to introducing the image of a young city that is growing and developing.
On this occasion, People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City expressed gratitude and awarded certificates of merit to many collectives and individuals from central, provincial and local press agencies for their outstanding achievements in propaganda work in recent times.
