In the period of 2005-2010, Thu Dau Mot achieved second rank urban area thanks to its capacity of maintaining good growth with righteous transition of economic structure.
And actually, the urban space of Thu Dau Mot Town has been expanded with major investment into traffic constructions of Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, 30/4 Street, My Phuoc-Tan Van Street, Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, Bach Dang Street and internal connecting routes to facilitate socio-economic development. In 2007, Thu Dau Mot Town was rated as third rank urban area and basically became second rank town by 2011 for completing major constructions as required.
Looking forward to 2015, the town shall become first rank urban area after fulfilling infraconstruction of water supply and treatment, street lighting, green trees, environment sanitation, administrative buildings, re-settlement houses, and facilities of education, healthcare, culture, information, tourism, trade, services, etc.
Social and technical infraconstruction were prioritized in manner of modern constructions to improve live hood. Political security and public order were maintained to promote socio-economic development of the province, confirmed Mr. Le Quang Vinh, Head of Urban Management Unit of Thu Dau Mot Town.
Technical infrastructure is vital for a modern and civilized town and must be invested into in a right way of material use.
