*Vietnamese Teachers’ Day celebrated across the province
Early November 18, Thu Dau Mot University held a get-together to mark Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), in attendance of Nguyen Minh Duc, former Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

The school now trains 26 university-level majors and 9 postgraduate-level ones with nearly 1,800 students. Most students have sought jobs suitable to their ability after graduation. Currently, the whole school has a total of 14 professors, associate professors, 88 doctoral degree holders, 491 master’s degree holders, nearly 100 lecturers who attend postgraduate programs at home and abroad. The school has actively built an advanced training system towards three basic goals: ability of career, ability of foreign languages and social skills.
On this occasion, the school set up a liaison committee for Song Be-Binh Duong pedagogy schools’ex-teachers; awarded the mementoes “For the cause of education” to 4 teachers and handed over decisions of appointment as associate professors to 2 teachers.
*Yesterday morning, Hung Vuong specialized high school organized a ceremony to mark its 20th founding anniversary and a get-together in observance of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
Over the past 20 years, the school had a total of 208 pupils recognized as national good ones and thousands of pupils as good ones at all levels. There were more than 90% of pupils getting the “good pupil” title annually. Noticeably, 100% of the school’s pupils passed the 2016 university entrance examination. The school will strive to be among the country’s top 30 schools in 2020.
*On the morning of the same day, Binh Duong Medical College also held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and open its 2017-2017 academic year.
The school now trains 2 college-level majors and 3 intermediate-level ones. In the 2016-2017 academic year, the school has received more than 700 students, bringing the total number of students trained here so far to approximate 3,000. The school has been determined to innovate training programs for better quality, vigorously develop scientific research…
*Early November 11, Huynh Van Nghe high school held a get-together to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
At the get-together, the school’s managing board also reminded teaching staff to raise their responsibility in teaching task as well as training their professional ethnics. They need to seek the most optimal teaching ways plus creativeness in order to bring pupils useful and interesting teaching periods.
*The same day, the Divisions of Education and Training of Ben Cat, Thuan An, Di An towns and Phu Giao district also held get-togethers to celebrate the holiday.
