The Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot University has just reviewed its activities during the 2013 summer volunteer youth campaign at Long Hai tourist site in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, with the participation of more than 100 teachers and students.
During the three-month campaign, Thu Dau Mot University focused on three main programs: “giving strength in exam season”, “summer volunteer youth program” and “giving strength to pupils”. Accordingly, the school’s volunteer students got involved in such significant activities as organizing Mid-Autumn festivals for ethnic minority children; opening summer activities for children; visiting policy beneficiary families; making traffic roads in 3 hamlets of Tan Ha commune in Binh Thuan province’s Duc Linh district; coordinating with Binh Duong Radio and Television Station to present 2,000 notebooks, old books and 8 sets of computer to the above localities with total value of more than VND50mln…
On this occasion, the Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot University also honored 2 collectives and 30 individuals for their good performance during the 2013 summer volunteer youth campaign.
