Leaders of Thuan An town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee have just held delegations to visit and present gifts to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers at 21 Buddhist facilities in the town and TDM city on the occasion of the Vu Lan festival 2014.
At the visiting places, leaders of the town presented flower baskets and gifts to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers; wished them a happy Vu Lan season while acknowledging their contributions to social charity activities over the past time. They also wanted that the local Buddhist community would continue well realizing the Party and State’s policies and laws; actively respond to patriotic emulation movements and promote the national great unity bloc…
*Bau Bang district’s Party Committee, People’s Council and Fatherland Front Committee have just organized delegations to visit and present gifts to Buddhist dignitaries at pagodas, namely Tu Hue, Linh Quang in Lai Hung commune; Hoi Quang, Phuoc Hoi in Lai Uyen commune; Tinh Nghiem in Tru Van Tho commune on the occasion of the Vu Lan festival 2014.
At the visiting places, leaders of the district extended best regards to the local Buddhist dignitaries and followers and informed them about socio-economic achievements done by the district since being established on April 1, 2014 while acknowledging their contributions to the local development.
The local Buddhist dignitaries also expressed thanks for the attention of the local authorities at all levels and pledged that they and Buddhist followers would continue well realizing the Party and State’s policies and laws, join hands with locals to make more contributions to the locality.
