On the afternoon of August 25, Thuan An city People's Committee held a conference to review the implementation of the 60-day campaign to collect and activate electronic identification accounts for eligible citizens associated with the implementation of Resolution No. 50/NQ-CP dated April 8, 2023 of the government regarding the pilot implementation of the use of integrated driver's license on electronic identity accounts.
Over the past time, the collection and activation of digital ID accounts has been drastically directed by the Standing Committee of the city Party Committee which assigned specific tasks to members of the Standing Committee of the city Party Committee and Party Committees of communes and wards in leadership and direction for the designated areas. Since then, the Project 06 team the city has successfully completed the target of activating 294,860 accounts assigned by the Project 06 Team of the province on August 20 - 10 days before the commitment deadline. According to the report, as of August 22, 2023, the whole city has received 363,554 applications at 123.29% of the target as planned by the Project 06 Team of the province. The whole city has now successfully activated 302,555 accounts, reaching the rate of 102.6%, exceeding the target according to the plan assigned by the Project 06 Team of the province.
On this occasion, 30 collectives and 69 individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuan An city for their outstanding achievements in implementing the 60-day campaign to acquire and activate electronic identity accounts for citizens.
