Thuan An City Association for Education Promotion recently held a summary of its activities for 2024. Throughout the year, the Association, in collaboration with various departments, organizations, and philanthropists, successfully promoted education and talent development while also fostering social responsibility in education, with total funding exceeding 25 billion 848 million VND.
Specifically, 17,768 underprivileged students received gifts and other forms of support, amounting to over 2 billion 657 million VND; scholarships encouraging learning and recognizing talent were awarded to more than 5,400 students, with a budget of over 2 billion 167 million VND; 112 teachers were honored with rewards totaling over 57 million VND.
Overall, in 2024, the Thuan An City Association for Education Promotion effectively engaged in promoting education, nurturing talent, and supporting students in challenging circumstances.
On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Education Promotion awarded certificates of merit to 42 groups and 53 individuals; Thuan An City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 39 groups and 50 individuals. In addition, Thuan An City's Association for Education Promotion awarded certificates of merit to 9 groups and 60 individuals for their achievements in promoting education in 2024.
