Thuan An town’s Youth Union yesterday held a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2012 with participation of nearly 400 local youths.
During the Youth Month, youths in Thuan An will get involved in many significant activities and programs, including “Green Sunday”, “Lighting up the dream of Binh Duong’s youths”, “Youths with traffic culture”...They will also provide free medical check-ups and medicine for poor and privileged families…
Speaking at the ceremony, Thuan An town’s People’s Committee Vice-Chairwoman Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong, who is also head of the town’s Steering Board for the Youth Month 2012 spoke highly of the role of youths in the construction and development process of the town. Hence, they need to actively realize key works and set up achievements to celebrate the Youth Union congresses at all levels and responds to the Traffic Safety Year 2012…
The local Youth Unions also signed a pledge to well realize the Traffic Safety Year 2012 and join hands in environmental protection towards the goal of building of a modern and civilized Thuan An.After the ceremony, participating youths made environmental hygiene along two sides of Duc bridge with a total length of more than 4km.
