Early March 12, provincial delegation, led by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, held a working session with Thuan An city’s Party Standing Committee.

At the meeting, Nguyen Thanh Tam, Chairman of Thuan An city’s People's Committee said that the city's economic growth in 2024 remained stable. The city’s accumulated disbursement of public investment capital in the first two months of 2025 reached VND 39.762 billion out of the allocated VND 1,504.224 billion, achieving 2.64% across 217 projects. For projects directly managed by the city, VND 15.1 billion was disbursed for 12 project dossiers within two months. The total approved funding for ongoing and new projects amounted to more than VND 1.215 trillion across 1,642 dossiers, with more than VND 1.084 trillion already disbursed for 1,562 dossiers while VND 131.1 billion for 80 dossiers remains undisbursed.
Thuan An city outlined a monthly and quarterly economic growth scenario for 2025, with a strong focus on key tasks and solutions, including State budget collection, the progress of public investment disbursement, resource mobilization, tasks on resolving businesses’ challenges, making land valuation for clearance and compensation in both State and private projects…
Thuan An city also proposed and recommended the province to consider financial support for the investment in the Saigon Riverfront Road project within the city; increase in terms of personnel, equipment and infrastructure for commune and ward police forces to ensure the effective implementation of their duties.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Minh urged Thuan An city to carry out its tasks with the highest sense of responsibility during this period. The locality needs to focus on public investment, implement solutions to overcome difficulties related to mechanisms and policies and accelerate the completion of the province’s key projects. Additionally, efforts should be made in land clearance and compensation, ensuring effective administrative reforms to facilitate residents and businesses while resolving challenges for enterprises, attracting investment projects, upholding local strengths, maintaining local security and order…
