To celebrate the 77th anniversary of National Day (September 2nd) and implement the program "Millions of gifts to share love", on August 26, Thuan An city’s Women's Union presented 135 gifts to members, women and disabled people with difficult circumstances in wards of Binh Nham, Lai Thieu, Vinh Phu, Hung Dinh.
It is known that each gift includes rice, sugar, soy sauce, instant noodles, shampoo... with a total cost of more than VND27 million. Vo Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the city’s Women's Union said that this is one of activities regularly done by the local Women’s Union, showing its affection and responsibility in taking care of members, women and disabled people with difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging them to rise up and stabilize their lives.
It is known that the program "Millions of gifts to share love" aims to contribute to ensuring security and order when it is integrated with law dissemination activities, well realizing the local social charity activities.
