Early September 18, Thuan An town’s Youth Union in collaboration with the town’s Traffic Safety Committee and Head Tan Long Van II Binh Duong kicked off the 2016 “Youths with traffic culture” festival and “Traffic Culture-In the point of youths’ view” with the participation of more than 500 local Youth Union members.

At the festival, Youth Union members were heard a report on the local traffic order and safety, new regulations on punishment for traffic safety infringements; guided how to safely drive and checked their motorbikes free of charge. They also had a chance to take part in a lucky draw program with valuable prizes…
The “Traffic Culture-In the point of youths’ view” contest includes 2 test parts for collectives and individuals with the main contents of the Law on Traffic Safety. As a result, the organizers awarded 1 first, 2 second, 2 third and 6 consolidation prizes to outstanding individuals. In the team rankings, first prize for propaganda drawing went to Binh Nham ward, followed by Binh Hoa ward, An Son commune, Thuan Giao and Hung Dinh wards.
Head Tan Long Van II Binh Duong also presented a support package worth VND3million to a youth with difficult circumstance.
The event aimed to respond to the 2016 Traffic Safety Month and celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation (October 15, 1956-October 15, 2016); speed up propaganda work, raising the local young people’s awareness of traffic safety.
