On Oct 5, provincial Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to summarize the 2019-2020 school year, and announce tasks of the 2020-2021 school year for the preschool level.
According to Department of Education and Training, during last school year, the preschool level carried out many effective solutions to manage and direct the development of preschool education, fulfilled universal preschool education for 5-year-old children. As a result, most 5-year-old children in the province went to kindergarten at 5 years old, 100% of 5-year-old children were enrolled in semi-boarding schools and implemented preschool education program issued by Ministry of Education and Training. Preschools in the province seriously set up a safe, healthy, friendly educational environment, prevented and combated school violence, ensured absolute safety in terms of physical and mental health for children...
In the 2020-2021 school year, provincial education and training sector continues to strengthen and develop the network of preschools and classes in accordance with the local socio-economic conditions, to meet children's needs for going to school, turn towards standardization, modernization, socialization and international integration. In addition, the sector implements solutions to improve the quality of nurturing, care and education, ensure absolute safety for children; well implement the goal of preventing and fighting against Covid-19; to consolidate, maintain and improve the quality of universalization of preschool education for 5-year-old children to prepare them well for the first grade. The sector also develops preschool education for children under 5 years old; heightens qualifications of management staff and teachers.
