On the morning of March 19, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the conference to review the project of "Binh Duong province's Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union participating in propaganda and prevention of drug abuse among children and adolescents in 2022-2025" and the project of "Consulting office, supporting the development of youth in Binh Duong province" in Stage 3 of 2022-2025.
Over the past time, the propaganda and prevention of drug abuse among children in urban areas have had many practical and effective activities contributing to the fight against crime, social evils, and the building of a nationwide movement to protect the security of the fatherland. The project of Office of Consultancy and Support for Youth Development has also attracted a large participation of students, young workers, and young laborers; the skills training area has created positive effects, generating strong ripple effects; the weekend playground area meets the basic needs of healthy and beneficial playgrounds for young workers in the province. In 2023, the provincial Youth Union and units organized 51 weekend playground programs, with nearly 36,530 young workers and youth participating.
In the statement made at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha requested the leaders of departments, branches, and localities to continue to pay attention, coordinate better implementation of projects; focus on advising, timely resolving issues, difficulties, especially the issue of budget allocation. Functional sectors need coordination regulations to effectively implement projects. In addition, enhancing the development and replication of typical models; orienting propaganda for young people and other subjects on the cyberspace, contributing to spreading correct messages to all social classes.
