Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Deputy Chairman called for a boost of vocational orientation and training for rural labor force in 2011 after hearing reports of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) on rural vocational training.
Under report of DOLISA, by implementing Plan No. 1195/QD-UBND the traning establishments have coordinated with districts and towns to organize training of 26 classes of industrial electricity, hairdressing, fork lifter driver, rubber tapping, cooking, etc. 771 attendees have been approved for the courses at the cost of VND 844 million; however, obstacles remain in allocating budget for vocational training units.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi, Deputy Chairman of PPC, called upon DOLISA and Department of Finance to guide how to use up the vocational expenses allocated.
