Implementing action program of provincial Party Committee on the building of intellectuals in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country, education and training sector of Binh Duong province paid attention to the training and fostering in all aspects for staff to meet work requirements.
Training human resources, fostering talents
In fact, intellectuals are an important force in the process of industrialization-modernization and international integration. Annually, provincial Department of Education and Training cooperates with relevant departments and branches to counsel the issuance of regimes and policies to support public servants, officials, students of education and training sector. Besides, the sector also plans to train staffs and teachers every year. In particular, the introduction of righteous and excellent cadres to abroad training was also done carefully. Accordingly, in order to improve professional skills for staff, the department advised five cases for abroad training, including 3 doctors and 2 masters.

According to Nguyen Hong Sang, Director of Department of Education and Training, staff recruitments of the sector often give priority to good graduates; create a good working environment to attract good intellectuals, for staff to work peacefully and accomplish their tasks; encourage and give incentives to those who study to improve their professional qualifications and to receive jobs in rural areas... Learning is a life-long activity, educators should learn to improve themselves in all aspects. During school year and summer time, teachers are regularly trained with themes, which focus on management innovation and teaching.
Education and training sector focused on fostering high school students and sent them to long-term trainings at home and abroad, especially for fields that are in high demands. The department focused on key quality, especially the fostering of national excellent students. Due to many effective measures and training, the province’s results at national excellent students’ competitions in recent years have flourished, the number of prizes increases every year; particularly 24 prizes in 2018, including 4 second prizes.
In fact, universities have contributed greatly to having intellectual team serving the industrialization and modernization of the province. In addition to renovating training program, universities strengthened international exchanges with foreign universities, actively contributing to the training of high-quality human resource for the province to meet integration requirements.
Schools meet development requirements
To ensure the education and training development planning, the province boosted investment in the construction of school facilities. Ms. Sang acknowledged that in recent years, the province had promulgated many mechanisms to prioritize and develop education and training activities. At present, school facilities from pre-schools to high schools are fully planned; school equipment is increasingly strengthened to meet teaching needs and requirements of the educational reform. In the last 10 years, 235 school projects were invested.
The province's education and training cause has made remarkable progress, schools and classes at all levels have been increasing to meet people needs, due to the socialization. For many years, individuals and enterprises have invested in building schools; departments and organizations supported the repair of classrooms, equipment purchase for teaching, boosting the education and training cause.
