Binh Duong Provincial Youth’s League organizes visit for children

Nhu Educating children of traditions has always been concentrated by Provincial Youth’s League in various and diversified formalities including flag salute activities, meeting with history witnesses, traveling to historical sites, contesting in learning of President Ho Chi Minh background and history of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers.Accordingly, the Young Pioneers, in a bid to promote visits to revolutionary contributors, has edited and published 1,000 handbooks of red addresses to provincial children.Annually, Provincial Youth’s League holds programs of “lightening dreams of young people in Binh Duong Proivnce” to honor excellent participant with Doan Thi Lien Award and Ho Van Men Award to facilitate children schooling. In 2013, Provincial Youth’s League held a festival for children overcoming harsh circumstances to excel in learning. At the festival, the Provincial Youth’s League praised up 91 children and handed over 4 charity houses.Upholding the movement of “for the beloved children”, Provincial Young Pioneers has implemented the festival of “Children in Binh Duong Province for the national borders”The Provincial Youth’s League has called upon associations of Young Pioneers to donate notebooks and schooling items to children in remote areas of Loc Ninh District, Binh Phuoc Province. In the trip the model young pioneers of Binh Duong Province vistied Ta Thiet base where the border soldiers of Ta Pet Station are residing in Loc Ninh. They visited illiteracy eradication classes and offered 15 scholarship packages of VND 500,000 each to children in difficult circumstances of Loc Dien B School at Loc Thanh Ward in Loc Ninh District.Besides, the associations of Provincial Young Pioneers have initiated small planning movements in 2013-2014 academic year with high achievements and gain of VND 350 million from selling waste paper and cans.As for the movement of “working little in accordance with age” of the associations, nearly 3,000 children have been praised for their actions of good deeds such as being piety to parents, returning lost objects to their owner, helping peers, etc.The Youth’s League at all levels has taken good care of spiritual support. Provincial Youth’s League has planned to intensify organization of entertainment activities for young people and children while consulting for building up recreation zones for children. Besides, Provincial Youth’s League coordinated with Organization of Provincial Party Committee to prepare and issue guidance on functionality and duty of the organization and staff of Children House and operational centers for adolescence at district, town, and city levels.Reported by Ngoc Nhu – Translated by Vi Bao
