Currently, Binh Duong Province has 410,000 children under 16 and nearly 152,000 under 6, of whom, many are factory worker children in industrial parks. Thus, the spiritual and material life care have been taken care of by Binh Duong Provincial authority.
Many practical activities
The month of actions for children has been organized in every parts of the province to support factory worker children, poor children, and orphans and homeless children. They are favored by gifts and healthy playground. In Thuan An Town, local Youth’s League has coordinated with Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to organize festival for children at Tree Farm with gifts and scholarship giving away. Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Thuy, Deputy Secretary of Thuan An Town Youth’s League informed of the continual activities for children in tơn to offer them the social care and be worthy of good children and students.

Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs have improved activities and built up full, safe and healthy living environment of children. In 6 months of 2015, the department has consulted with provincial leaders to present 1,367 gifts to children by the State’s budget and organize 2,900 recreational locations free for children at the cost of VND 1.9 billion while donating 1,300 gifts to children in the Club of anti-HIV/AIDS in children and children in harsh circumstances during Children Day of June 1.
Kindergarten for factory worker children
Children population increases by the population of immigrant workers in industrial parks and processing zones of the province. Thus, the schooling demands are rising, prompting Binh Duong Province to build up schools and kindergartens; however, the endeavor failed to satisfy the demands. As the matter of fact, enterprises have built up kindergartens for their factory worker children.
Mrs. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, President of Binh Duong Provincial Labor Union said that the construction of kindergartens for factory worker children has brought up tremendous effects assuring factory workers of their work while their children enjoy safe schooling; however, the facilities failed to meet the demands requiring the State to offer suitable policies for factory workers to enroll their children to quality kindergartens and ensure benefits for all of them. In the meantime, legality is needed to ensure enough land preservation for kindergartens and preschools within industrial parks and accommodation sites for factory workers.
