As a land with a long history of culture and revolutionary struggle, museums and traditional houses in Binh Duong province have been invested and developed.
According to the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the province now has one provincial museum and 9 traditional houses located across 7 districts and townships.

located at 565 Binh Duong
Boulevard, Hiep Thanh ward, Thu Dau Mot town has a
total area of 13,000sqm. The provincial museum now reserves over 13,000
original exhibits and over 500 photos and scientific documents. The exhibits
are displayed at 4 centers with 8 themes such as Binh Duong natural history;
Binh Duong in prehistoric period to the 16th century; Binh Duong
provincial administration border through stages; ethnic groups’ culture; Binh
Duong in anti-French period; Binh Duong in anti-American period; Binh Duong on
the way to integration and development; local craft villages.
Over the past years, under assistance from local leaders and authorities, the provincial museum and traditional houses have excelled their functions and tasks. At present, most of the provincial cultural institutions have been gone into good operation. The volume of visitors coming to this museum is increasing with over 60,000 arrivals per year.

holidays or summer vacations, schools and youth unions often hold home-bound
journeys for students to learn about history, culture and society at the
museum.
